Koshu's washi (Japanese paper) has an impressive history of 1,200 years. Ichikawa-misato-cho prides one of Japan's largest productions of washi for shoji screens.
The organization handles washi postcards, letter paper, calligraphy paper, and shoji paper, boasting the largest share in Japan for the last.
