The group of springs at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake mountains is designated as one of the 100 best water sites in Japan (Ministry of the Environment). It was named after an incident in the Warring States Period when Takeda Shingen solved a dispute over water by dividing the water equally between three villages.
Water quality, amount of spring water: 8,500 tons per day
Temperature: around 11℃ throughout the year.
