Main content starts here.

Area:Isawa/Katsunuma/Nishizawa Gorge

Katsunuma-cho, known for its grape-production, is also famous for its wine-production. “Budo-Kobo Wine Glass Hall” is just what this wine town needs. Over 200 varieties of wine glasses collected from all over the world are displayed here. Not only wine glasses, but gemstone accessories and delicious Katsunuma-wine are on sale. In the Grape Museum on the second floor of the shop, art works related to grapes are on display, as well as the wine-labels collected from diverse corners of the world. A bakery is attached to the shop where Yamanashi’s own unique raisin bread is baked in a stone oven that uses firewood from grape trees. You can have the bread at the café “VINHO” in the shop. There is also a hands-on studio where you can draw a picture on the glass or make your own accessories. Would you like to write your name on an art work and make your own original souvenir?
