Area:Isawa/Katsunuma/Nishizawa Gorge

You can experience hoto making in a agricultural products processing experience facility, located near the road Station, Kaiyamato. The housewives from local community will give you detailed guidance. So even the beginners can make it. Booking is required. It has to be more than 10 people to apply. Fee is 2,000 per person. You can experience kneading a dough, making noodles, and cutting noodles. The noodles you make will be cooked immediately. So you can eat them on the spot. The hoto you made yourself is especially tasty! We sometimes hear excited voices that they want to try at home, too. The meal is served with hand-made konnyaku, local specialty, Urajro-manjyu, and pickled vegetables. So you can also enjoy local flavors. How about experiencing the delight of making something by yourself from the hoto making when you come to Yamanashi in a group with your friends, as a school excursion, or as a company trip.
