Yabusame Ritual Mounted Archery Festival

• Date: September 18th, 2010 ~ September 19th, 2010

• Location: Omuro Sengen Shrine, City of Fujiyoshida

• Access: 5 minute walk from from Fujiyoshida Station on the Fujikyu Line

Ritual mounted archery "Yabusame" as an offering to the gods, in which fortunes are told from in the marks left by the hooves of the running horses. A parade will take place on September 18, and on September 19th a ritual of cloth changing of the god status will takes place which is held once every 60 years.
