The cherry trees of Lake Kawaguchiko

Lake Kawaguchiko has the longest shoreline of any of the Fuji Five Lakes. As you travel along the lakefront, you will notice there are numerous locations with cherry trees. In addition to Nagasaki Park, the many options include the lake side of the Fuji View Hotel, Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine, the Kawaguchiko Museum of Art, the area near the Lake Kawaguchiko Circular Hall (Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater), and various walking trails that trace the lakefront. Each of these has its own viewing points of particular interest and has its own appeal. Park your car and take a break from your regular life, and find the cherry blossom viewing spot you like best as you walk through the area.
