Nezu Memorial Museum in Yamanashi City

The Nezu Memorial Museum is in Yamanashi City, where the Nokuru members went for their first camping trip. The Nezu Memorial Museum is located at the former residence of the Nezu family. Kaichiro Nezu greatly influenced the modernization of Japan and is called the “railroad king.” Some of the buildings that make up the museum were designated as nationally registered tangible cultural properties in 2007. These include the former main residence, the storehouse, and the gate ‘Nagayamon.’ The museum houses a permanent exhibition documenting the life and career of Kaichiro Nezu, as well as exhibitions of fine arts and other areas. The facility boasts magnificent Japanese architecture and a garden where you can relax and enjoy the flow of time and a view that changes with the season.
