Kai no Kaiun, a High-quality Sake Made with Mt. Fuji Spring Water


While you enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Mt. Fuji and Fuji Five Lakes, why don’t you also try the delicious “Kai no Kaiun” sake made with Mt. Fuji Spring water! The brewery is only 10 minutes walking distance away from the Kawaguchiko Station!

Ide Brewery stated to make the sake about 160 years ago. In order to let more people to learn about the history and culture of Japanese sake and the “Kai no Kaiun” sake, the brewery started the sake brewery tour in 2010.



Sake brewery tour:

-A 30~40 minutes tour to learn the history and brewing process of Kai no Kaiun sake. (The entire brewing equipments are only available to see during the brewing season –November~March )

-Free Sake tasting is included after the tour (2~3 types of sake)

-2 tours a day ①9:30 ②15:00

-Reservation is required

Tour fee: 500 yen

-Including a small souvenir and a sake glass,

-No fee for people who is under age 20. In Japan, the legal alcohol drinking age is 20.
