Isawa Onsen, Koshu and Winery Area

The Isawa area boasts the highest peach and grape production in Japan. You can enjoy cherry blossom viewing in spring, fruit picking from summer to autumn, and bathing in hot springs all year round. The area is known as Japan’s main wine production center and you can enjoy tours of the local wineries.

Kofu and Shosenkyo Gorge Area

Kofu is associated with Takeda Shingen, and the area has many sightseeing spots connected to this famous general from the Warring States Period, including Takeda-jinja Shrine which is dedicated to him and Kai-zenko-ji Temple. There are many hot springs in Kofu, such as Kofu Spa and Yumura Spa, and it is famous as a city of hot spring water.

Yatsugatake Area

The Yatsugatake area, with the peaks of The Southern Alps, is a leading highland resort in Japan. The area has many attractions to enjoy such as skiing in winter, and a village of artisans making original crafts. There is also an outlet mall where you can enjoy shopping.

Fujisan (Mt. Fuji) and Fujigoko (Fuji Five Lakes) Area

The Fujikawaguchiko area is located at the foot of the north side of Japan’s symbol, the sacred Mt. Fuji. Many visitors from Japan and overseas are drawn to the area by its stunning nature. In addition to the natural scenery, the area also has art museums, theme parks and other facilities to enjoy.
