Woodstock Country Club

This opened as a public course in 1981 with independent play games only. It was designed by golf pro Seiha Chin and Hideo Takemura. This is a highly strategic course with a lot of variety, including downhill lies and uphill lies. There are amazing unbroken views of the Kofu Basin from the holes.

Here, the No. 4 hole with a downward lie toward Kofu Basin is highly recommended. If you are lucky, you might be able to see a magnetic levitation train. Vegetables produced in Ashigawa are sold at the clubhouse.

(i) There are many holes here where it is necessary to decide between going for the green on the tee shot, or hitting a lay-up shot, so strategic judgments are needed. (ii) The key to getting a better score here is assessing the area around the cup.

Course guide

Hole No. 18, par of 5. This is a tough hole, but after the game, amazing scenery can be enjoyed here.

Hole No. 13, par of 3. There is a pond ahead and a bunker to the rear.

Hole No. 10, par of 5. In the spring, cherry trees bloom on the course, and the Kofu Basin becomes colored with the pink of peach blossoms.

Sauna ? This is only provided at the men’s bath area.

Golfers can enjoy comfortable, independent golf games using passenger carts that have navigations systems.
