Vintage Golf Club

This club has a highly strategic resort-style course located on the southern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. It is at an elevation of 800 m, and is blessed with weather conditions featuring the most hours of sunshine in Japan, so golf can be enjoyed here year round. When visiting by car, it is possible arrive here in about 90 minutes from Hachioji using the Chuo Expressway.

This is a strategic course where two men’s regular tournaments have been held in the past, and it can be enjoyed by a wide range of golfers.

At this course, there are many holes with narrow hitting zones from the tee shot, so the key to getting a good score is hitting accurate shots that keep the ball on the fairway. Also, the greens are fast, so reading the grass grain is an important factor. Noting that having Mt. Kayagatake in the background means “with the grain” is useful for avoiding three-putts.

Transportation details	Visiting by car Exit the tollbooth and turn right. Proceed straight for about 1 km, and turn left at the third traffic light (Miyakubo Intersection) onto the Mt. Kayagatake wide farm road. This farm road does not have any traffic lights. Proceed through two tunnels and past Heidi’s Village, and there will be an entrance sign on the right side of the road. The clubhouse is about 1 km from here. Visiting by train From Nirasaki Station, taxi ride of 30 minutes.
