Okanokouen Kiyosato Golf Course

This is a public course with 27 holes. Here, the Komagatake (Koma) Course, Yatsugatake (Yatsu) Course, and Fujisan (Fuji) Course all have expansive fairways that make use of natural features. The course has been designed to meet the high expectations of golfers. This is an authentic champion course with beautiful natural scenery that golfers will appreciate.

Key point

This is a public course where tournaments of the PGA Senior Tour are held. It is located at an elevation of 1,170 m, and it features 27 holes that are highly strategic and attractive.

Strategy

At this course, each hole is flat and has a substantial distance, so it is possible to thoroughly enjoy long drives in the crisp air of a plateau. There are long shots that make it possible to put the ball on the green in two shots, but since there are ponds in front of the greens, simply hitting long distances will not guarantee a good score. As such, a fine-tuned combination of long-range shots and delicate shots is needed.
