Kitanomori Country Club

In spite of being located at an elevation of 750 m at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains, this is a relatively flat course with a height difference of 50 m. It is surrounded by the Yatsugatake Mountains to the north, the Minami Alps and Mt. Kaikoma to the west, the mountains of Chichibu to the east, and sacred Mt. Fuji to the south. This is an authentic hill course where pleasant golf can be enjoyed in all four seasons. Each hole has beauty and dynamism, and golfers are left fascinated. This course was renovated and reopened in spring 2016! The work included revising the cart paths and fully revamping the restaurant, and as a result, the course and clubhouse have been transformed to provide the feeling of being at a resort.

This is a flat course. A key point is how to keep the ball on the fairways. On the greens with wide areas, it is necessary to pay close attention to hitting zones. The beautifully distributed ponds are sometimes a menace during games. Holes numbers 4, 12, and 17 are short holes across ponds, while number 9 features a pond along the side.

Course guide

Adjacent Hotel Kitanomori. There is a 300-yard practice ground equipped with lights by here, so guests can stay at the hotel and become immersed in golf during their visit.

Front of clubhouse

Spacious restaurant hall. All of the seats are sofas, and visitors can relax here during lunch or after a game.
